Active library advocate & engaged supporter:
- As President of the Belmont Library Foundation, worked successfully with a team to raise $5.3 million to support construction of the new library.
- Successfully applied for construction grant funding from Mass Cultural Council for library.
- Coordinated canvassing and GOTV operation for successful Yes for Library campaign in 2022
- Member, Friends of Belmont Public Library
Town Meeting Member, Precinct 2
Active voter; engaged Belmont resident since 2015.
- Led canvassing effort for successful 2023 tax override.
- Canvassed Precinct 2 for the successful high school referendum in 2018
Successful Nonprofit Executive
Over 30 years of senior leadership roles in management and revenue generation.
- Successfully turned around a failing community farm in Boston suburbs. Regained public trust and support, and renewed town financial contract. Led successful campaign to secure long-term lease at town meeting.
- Raised over $7 million in corporate and individual grants
Graduate degree from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University; undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College, magna cum laude.
